이미지 파일 형식에 대해 알아보자

 

🍓 TIFF (.tiff, .tif)

lossless image files meaning that they do not need to compress or lose any image quality or information allowing for very high-quality images but also larger files sizes

-       can save transparencies

 

🍓 BITMAP (.bmp)

there is no compression or information loss with bmp files which allow images to have very high quality, but also very large file sizes

 

🍓 JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg)

the image is compressed to make a smaller file but the loss is generally not noticeable

-       손상을 최소화하면서 사용자가 원하는 이미지 퀄리티와 크기를 설정할 수 있다

 

🍓 GIF (.gif)

limited to only 256 colors, can allow for transparency, and can be animated

-       typically small in size and very portable

-       can save transparency

 

🍓 PNG (.png)

lossless image format, able to handle up to 16 million colors

-       save transparency

-       비손실 압축 파일 포맷

-       이미지 손실이 없으면서 웹상에서 gif나 jpeg보다 빠른 화면 출력이 가능

 

🍓 SVG (.svg)

xml을 기반으로 한 vector file format

웹상이나 텍스트로 여는 것이 가능

메타 + 그래픽의 복합 이미지 포맷
